Accent Lighting Designs, a professional lighting company, was created with a goal of bringing the service of professional lighting design closer to the public. Jim Lehman CLC, ALA, a professional lighting designer, member of the American Lighting Association and the Illuminating Engineers Society of North America, combines art and light to create functional ambient beauty in today's market, both inside as well as outside.

Accent Lighting Designs has a main showroom located on the Town Square in the middle of San Macros, Texas; halfway between Austin and San Antonio. The Main showroom functions in several ways. We have a design studio with an extensive library, a lighting lab for clients to use and experience for themselves the look and effects of fixtures, as well as the largest selection of landscape lighting fixtures in Central Texas on display.

Every employee of our company goes through extensive field training (usually lasting at least three to five years). Following this “Hands-On” field training are American Lighting Association and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America training courses on lighting designs, efficiency and installation procedures, which help to keep Accent Lighting Designs in the forefront of the latest applications and technology. Only after having gained certificates from A.L.A. and I.E.S.N.A. as well as passing our own Perfection Test can an employee go out and begin Designing and Consulting on a professional basis.

Mr. Lehman's passion for lighting landscapes is a very unique concept in today's lighting marketplace. Having trained and interned with one of the largest landscape lighting companies in the world, Mr. Lehman utilizes his talents as an artist and lighting designer to bring timeless beauty to private residences and commercial businesses. HID, Low-Volt and Halogen light sources are his paintbrushes, your home the easel, and your landscape his canvas. His design may be seen in Beaumont, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Laredo, McAllen, and even small communities like Hunt, Utopia, and Leakey, Texas.
